Pet stores and other retailers have long been a favorite of the American people, but this year they’re looking to attract a much younger demographic.
That’s according to a new study from the University of Michigan, which found that the number of people under 30 purchasing pet food and toys online grew 40% from 2013 to 2015.
Pet shopping is a popular activity in the U.S., but it’s also a lucrative one, and many pet-friendly retailers are getting ready to start opening their doors.
Pet food and pet toys are among the top items on grocery store shelves, and the pet-loving demographic is now big enough that the pet food industry is growing by about 20% annually, according to the Pet Foods Association, an industry trade group.
The group also said it expects to see a 40% growth in pet food purchases by the end of 2020.
The study, conducted by the Pet Food Association, looked at a wide variety of data from over 40 pet food companies, as well as retailers, retailers, and manufacturers of pet food.
According to the study, the average pet shopper now purchases a total of $12,724 in pet products and pet food products, up 40% since 2013.
The growth in the pet product market has been driven by consumer demand and consumer-friendly pricing, said the study’s lead author, Elizabeth DeMenth, a professor of business administration and economics at the university.
The pet food market is growing fast.
Last year, pet food company PetSmart said its pet products accounted for $1.6 billion in sales.
That means pet food sales account for 40% of the company’s revenue, which grew 11% from the previous year.
The PetSmart study found that pet food spending also increased by 35% in 2015 compared to 2014.
It’s the same trend at grocery stores, where PetSmart found that PetSmart pet food was up 21% from 2015 to 2019.
Pet-friendly pet foods are also becoming more common on grocery shelves.
In 2014, the Food and Drug Administration approved a new category called pet food that contains no animal ingredients, but some grocery stores still have restrictions on what products can be sold on pet food, according the study.
The Food and Drugs Administration recently approved a pet food product that has an animal by-product content of 5% or less, but it is still not legal to sell it in pet stores.
Pet foods that do contain animal byproducts can still be sold in grocery stores if the food meets certain standards.
Petfood companies are also getting ready for a new generation of consumers.
According the PetFood Association, pet-oriented retailers are increasingly trying to attract an older and more affluent clientele, with more expensive pet food options.
PetFoods.com, which has been around for more than a decade, is offering a “premium pet food package” for $30 that includes all the basics for your furry friend.
Pet Food News reported that the premium pet food packages are being offered for the first time in the country, and they come with coupons to buy pet food online.
Some pet stores are also opening their stores to pet shoppers.
The National Pet Supply Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is opening its doors to pet owners in the fall.
The center offers pet food in a variety of flavors, including pet food made with chicken and other pet foods, pet foods made with dairy and beef, pet treats, and pet treats made with fish.
The site is also offering discounts on pet foods that aren’t available on pet stores, and coupons for pet food orders of up to $25.
Pet store coupons can be used at pet food stores, but they aren’t valid at the Pet Supply Centre.
Pet Supplies.com has been a popular site for pet owners looking to save on pet-related products since it was founded in 2001.
