Mom’s grocery store in the town of Horsham, Pennsylvania, is open today.
The family-owned supermarket opened in late March, the first store in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
“It’s really a big step for us,” said Erin O’Leary, a staff member at the store.
“The whole family came together and wanted to come to Harrisburg and have a shopping experience that would make them feel good.
It’s really great to have our mom here and we love her so much.”

The family-run business is owned by Erin O ‘Leary, her daughter, Kristi, and their three sons.
O’Leary said the family decided to reopen the store because they have grown tired of the delays caused by the state’s closure.
“We are really happy to be able to open our doors to our customers again,” O’Leaigh said.
“We were really looking forward to opening and to be opening a store, because we feel like it’s a good experience for our customers and our staff.”
“We’re really excited to have this new approach,” O-Leaig said.

“Our community was really impacted by the closure and our customers, so we wanted to make sure they were not left out, especially with the flood, because that was one of the main reasons they were affected,” Hsley said.
There are also plans to expand the store to include produce, meat and other grocery items, which is expected to open next year.
Horsley said she hopes to expand to other areas, including the area that the Harris Township store is in.
