The supermarket chain is opening in November for the holidays.
A spokesman for the supermarket chain said customers can expect to find the store to be fully operational for the first time on Monday.
“This is an exciting time for our customers, and we are pleased to welcome shoppers to our new location at the historic St John Street Market in Liverpool’s Liverpool Street,” the spokesman said.
“The store is currently staffed by local staff and will be open for normal business on Monday.”
Liverpool City Council says the opening of the new store was the result of a “very successful trial of a new store” by Liverpool City Council.
The council said it was not yet clear how many people would be able to enter the new supermarket.
