In the wake of the shooting death of a pet store clerk at a Rite Aid in North Carolina, the shooting at a pet supply store in Florida and the shootings in Texas, pet store shoppers are still finding it difficult to find their loved ones in stores.
But, as Pet Stores owner Steve Bittner told CNN’s Jim Sciutto, the retailer is committed to changing that.
“We’re going to make it as easy as we can for our customers, for our employees and for the pet owners that live in our stores to find the animals they need,” Bittners said.
Pet Stores is also offering free pet supplies to pet owners in its stores.
Pet stores have been offering pet supplies for pet owners since the late 1800s.
They were a common way for people to bring animals to local shelters and provide them with a safe and loving home.
Pet owners, however, often did not know what to do with their pets, especially when they returned to their communities after having been released.
In recent years, pet stores have expanded their reach to include pet food, toys, toys for babies, toys and clothing, as well as supplies for grooming and health care.
Pet store owners are encouraged to check out pet stores on their own time and make sure their pets are not left alone in a store.
Pet supplies are usually only available in select stores, so Pet Stores can also help by providing the items at a discount, Sciutta said.
