A few days after the news broke that Amazon Fresh was closing its grocery department, customers were flooded with questions on Twitter about the closure.
Some were angry and others were happy to see the company move on from a beloved part of their lives.
“Thank you @amazon for your amazing food.
Now you will be left behind, with all the people you have helped grow, from the kitchen to the shelves,” wrote one Twitter user.
“It was so great seeing you at @amazonFresh last year,” said another.
Others said Amazon has been an important part of local grocery shopping for years.
“I can’t believe that @amazon is closing grocery stores.
How could anyone say they could go back to a life of shopping?
I’m going to have to start looking elsewhere,” wrote another.”
