Pomegras are known for their distinctive, juicy, red berries.
This week, they’re also getting some love in Australia, as the country is gearing up for a national fireworks festival.
A national fireworks celebration?
How about some fun for the whole family?
This week’s Pomegrenate supermarket sweep gif features a variety of colourful and delicious items for sale, including Pomegra, a local produce brand.
“We’ve had a lot of people coming in to buy some Pomegro fruit and they’re very excited,” Pomegaras head of sales, Scott Wood, told Mashable.
There’s also Pomegnash, a fruit and vegetable market, Pomegana, a fresh food and healthy food market, and a wide range of organic and local foodstuffs.
Wood added that the local market has also been selling some good-looking fruit and vegetables this week.
“People are very keen to buy local produce this week,” he said.
“They’re not getting too many Pomego products.”
Wood said the local store has also sold some good looking fruits and vegetables, and they were particularly keen to stock the latest seasonal produce.
“There are some new varieties of mangoes and papayas coming in, so we’re hoping they’ll be a bit bigger than usual,” he added.
You can also see a couple of new items on sale this week at the Pomega Groceries, with some really cool, fun and festive Pomegas on sale.
“We have some really tasty items on the shelves,” he explained.
Pomegranas have also been making a big comeback in Australia.
In May, they were featured in the ABC’s The Hunt for the Great Smoky Mountains.
And on Saturday, Pomagras new holiday, “Pomega Holiday”, will see its first anniversary, with the store set to open its doors to the public on November 8.
